The food selection was excellent. Everyone working at this stunningly beautiful hotel was incredibly welcoming. The location was marvellous and fantastic, on another platform with easy access to a market and stores.

I had a really great stay at this hotel in the center of town. The location is perfect, just inside the city walls, making it easy to explore Avignon. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with beautifully updated bathrooms. The attention to detail was evident, from the Hermes products in the bathroom to the comfortable beds. The prices for food and drinks were also very reasonable, making it a great value for money.

This is a top hotel! Everything is right, the location, the rooms, the beautiful courtyard and so on. The staff is friendly, a bit distant but very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is well equipped and beautiful. Breakfast, when the weather is nice is served in the courtyard, it is a real pleasure. You can also have an excellent dinner or enjoy a drink here. This hotel is truly a topper!

Location is excellent, comfortable bed... parking near the hotel wasn't taken care of right away, then it was okay. staff was very attentive on the day of arrival.

The most unpleasant impression was left by the restaurant staff on the day of our departure during breakfast. Breakfast at the hotel until 10:30, we went down at 10:05. In the hall of the restaurant there was another couple besides us, who apparently did not come there much earlier than us, they were plying between the buffet line and their table. There was no staff in the hall. My husband and I chose the table and started choosing food. Suddenly there was a lady with a tablecloth in her hand and said we should follow her to the bar. When asked why she answered that she needed to prepare the restaurant for lunch (which starts at 12:00), so we should have breakfast at the bar. I tried to explain that we don't want to go to the bar, we want to have breakfast in the same place as the other guests. But the lady insisted on her own. We saw no point in arguing and decided we'd have breakfast in a different, friendlier place. The mood was ruined. The service doesn't match the 5*. Reception was very tightly apologized, not offering a cup of coffee as an apology.

During my stay at Excellent Hotel, I was impressed by the exceptional service and attention to detail. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. They took care of parking my car and swiftly delivered our bags to the room. The check-in process was efficient and the bathroom amenities provided by Hermes added a luxurious touch. I was pleasantly surprised by the well-maintained garden bar and cafe, which provided a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The room itself was spacious, with shutters on the windows that effectively blocked out noise and light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff even provided us with a champagne bucket and quality glasses for our own champagne. The room service exceeded my expectations, offering delicious food at a reasonable price. I had no complaints about my stay at Excellent Hotel. It truly delivered on price, quality, and service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Avignon.

Charming historic property, spacious and well arranged room overlooking a treed courtyard, gracious staff, clean modern well equipped bath (voted "the best hotel hair dryer ever" by my wife).

Breakfast was remarkably sparse and ordinary, a disappointment since the hotel restaurant is a Michelin starred gourmet destination.
